McLean Public are working with a District Council in the South East of England on the appointment of an Interim Head of Strategic Finance. This is a pivotal role at the heart of the Council and the post holder will also be the S151 Officer. The Council is progressive, well led and committed to the communities it serves. It is looking for someone who will provide visible and corporate leadership in the role  as well as ensure that the financial direction of travel for the Council is delivered. There will be close working with Members and colleagues as part for a joined-up team. The assignment is for 5/6 months (inside IR35) and the Council operates a flexible 50/50 hybrid working model.
