Jonathan joined McLean in January 2019. He is the Managing Director of the business. He has 35 years’ experience of either working in, inspecting or recruiting to across the public sector. He can point to a far-reaching career in executive search whilst at Penna, Odgers and at Veredus where he was Managing Director. Prior to this, Jonathan has worked for the Cabinet Office as Deputy Director, as well as the Audit Commission and five London local authorities. He has a strong track record of Executive and Non-Executive hires across both the public and commercial sectors as well as championing a diversity and inclusion agenda for senior appointments. Jonathan also acts as an advisor for organisations going through transformational change and is a trained executive coach and mentor. He holds an MSc in Politics.
