London Legacy Development Corporation

Chair

The role

A once-in-a-generation opportunity to shape the future of east London

London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) was established to harness the once in a lifetime opportunity of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games transforming the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park into a dynamic new heart for east London. Today, that vision is a thriving reality: a dynamic, fast-growing ecosystem brimming with innovation, ambition and transformational potential.

From grassroots trailblazers to world leading institutions, from global investors to the next generation of east Londoners, the Park has become a living engine for sustainable, inclusive growth, driving opportunity, creativity and collaboration across the capital and beyond.

As Chair, you will lead the LLDC Board, setting strategic direction and ensuring effective governance as the organisation continues to deliver on its mission. Working closely with the Mayor of London, the Greater London Authority, national government and a wide range of partners, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the Park remains a catalyst for regional and national growth and a powerful symbol of lasting Olympic and Paralympic legacy.

This is an exceptional leadership opportunity to guide one of the most ambitious and successful regeneration projects in the world, and to help shape a future that is dynamic, inclusive and truly world class.
