London Legacy Development Corporation

Board Member

The role

A once-in-a-generation opportunity to shape the future of east London

London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) was established to harness the once in a lifetime opportunity of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games transforming the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park (QEOP) into a dynamic new heart for east London. Today, that vision is a thriving reality: a dynamic, fast-growing ecosystem brimming with innovation, ambition and transformational potential.

From grassroots trailblazers to world leading institutions, from global investors to the next generation of east Londoners, the Park has become a living engine for sustainable, inclusive growth, driving opportunity, creativity and collaboration across the capital and beyond.

LLDC is now seeking a Board member with strong commercial and innovation expertise to join its Board. In addition, candidates should have experience of building or scaling innovation ecosystems, clusters, or strategic partnerships, as well as a track record of working within public-private partnerships or other complex multi-stakeholder environments. Experience in sectors such as real estate, infrastructure, culture and creative industries, science and technology, or place-based innovation would be highly valuable.

This is a rare opportunity to help shape QEOP, one of the most ambitious and successful regeneration projects in the world, and to contribute to a future that is dynamic, inclusive, and truly world-class.
